Community Connect Program Initiative

Location > 4 George Street Centre

The Community Connect Program is designed to support individuals who are facing significant vulnerabilities and complex life challenges. Its core aim is to provide accessible support, information, advocacy, and referral services to those who need it most—completely free of charge.

This Program offers a universal access point, ensuring that anyone in the community can connect with the help they need, when they need it. The Program support individuals by helping them build connections, link people with local specialist services, build supportive networks, and offer a safe place for advocacy and referrals.

The Community Connect Initiative strongly aligns with the Neighbourhood Centre Initiative’s broader purpose, principles, and key activities. Together, they create a coordinated and compassionate approach to community wellbeing, inclusion, and resilience.

While walk-ins are welcome, we kindly recommend making an appointment in advance to ensure our Community Connect Worker is available to assist you. There may be times when she is busy or away from her desk, and booking ahead helps us provide you with the best support possible.
